Hi, allow me to introduce myself, my name is Terri and I am the founder of Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue. W2W was founded in May 2013 with the hope to help 8-10 animals per month find their forever home after they were abandoned, neglected or abused by their former family.

It wasn't long that we realized the need for these animals was far greater than we could offer being a small foster based only rescue. After 11 months of starting W2W we opened our amazing facility located in Plainfield, Illinois. Started with the goal to house up to 35-40 animals at a time W2W would be able to help more animals while keeping fosters open to the most medically needy or dogs that just do not do well in a kenneled type environment. We have gone above and beyond what I ever thought we could with rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing over 500 animals per year since 2013! Our rescue team is amazing, and I am very proud of the lives we have saved. The fact of the matter is we take the hardest cases you will see, we take the sick, we take the old and we get them well and we find them homes, great homes!

In order to continue to rescue and rehabilitate the sick, abandoned and neglected we need help from our community and supporters. Wags 2 Wishes NEVER wants to turn down a dog in need because the cost of their medical. Individual donations means we can focus on what we do best...
